Hear some seed stories, create your very own planter, then plant some flowers! Great for busy parents who want to share a library storytime with their children in the early evening.
Ms. Martha will read some cool stories about seeds; Julie Rand will share with your kids how to make a fail-safe winter/spring planter. She's carefully selected flower seeds designed to reward first time gardeners. Our Earth is precious; learn how to collaborate with Mother Nature and share nectar with bees and butterflies! Join us.
Program registration is required (so we know how many seeds and how much soil to buy!). Please register your child -- each child or family of children should be accompanied by an adult that can help them with the planter creation and the actual planting.
Program geared to 4 years old through 3rd grade (though older and younger siblings are also welcomed as guests if supervised.)
(We welcome your clean dry gallon milk jugs a week before the program, too!)
