Bottle Rockets Galore!!

Let's create, decorate, and blast off rockets at the park!

Join EPL for this super fun STEAM activity! We will be creating, decorating, and blasting off bottle rockets into the sky!

Come hang out with EPL's Engagement Team at James Park, near the Levy Center parking lot, for a super cool STEAM activity: BOTTLE ROCKETS! What is a Bottle Rocket? Basically, a launcher powered by a hand bicycle pump fills the paper rocket with compressed air. When the paper rocket is released from the launcher, air escapes the paper rocket. As the paper rocket pushes out the air, the air pushes the paper rocket upwards! We'll be making the paper rockets and decorating them so you can watch them blast off into the sky! Who knows, maybe the one you make can reach higher than everyone else's! Come and find out with us!

**No registration required, but there may be a wait time depending on how many persons are launching their rockets at one time. 

Ven a pasar el rato con EPL en James Park, cerca del estacionamiento de Levy Center, para una actividad STEAM súper genial: ¡COHETES DE BOTELLA! ¿Qué es un cohete de botella? Básicamente, un lanzador impulsado por una bomba de bicicleta manual llena un cohete de papel con aire comprimido. Cuando el cohete se libera del lanzador, el aire escapa del cohete de papel. A medida que el cohete de papel expulsa el aire, ¡el aire empuja el cohete de papel hacia arriba! ¡Haremos estos cohetes y las decoraremos para que puedas verlas volar hacia el cielo! Quién sabe, ¡tal vez el suyo pueda llegar más alto que los demás! ¡Ven y descúbrelo con nosotros!
