EPL End of Summer Bash!

with EFD, EPD, and Actors Gymnasium!

Join EPL and other community partners at Elks Play Lot Park as we celebrate the end of summer! It'll be an evening of fun, games and trucks!

Join EPL, the Evanston Fire Department (EFD), the Evanston Police Department (EPD), Actors Gymnasium, and C&W Market & Ice Cream Parlor on Saturday, August 10, from 2pm - 4pm, at Elks Play Lot Park (on the corner of Mulford St. and Callan Ave.) for an afternoon of fun, games, gymnastics and circus activities, and trucks! 

• The Evanston Fire Department will give kiddos a tour of the fire truck. There might even be some water play! This is going to be so much fun! The fire truck will only be present for about 30-45 minutes during the event. 
• Come hang out with professional gymnasts from Actors Gymnasium who will give an introductory course on all things acrobatic, ranging from tumbling to ground skills and more!
• The Evanston Police Department will give kiddos a tour of the police SUV and have fun giveaways for all! 
• C&W Market & Ice Cream Parlor will bring their ice cream truck to provide ice cream cones and sandwiches to purchase!
• The author of Trucky Roads, Lulu Miller, will be present to read and sign her new book along with Booked, the local bookstore!

Acompane a EPL, el Departamento de Bomberos de Evanston (EFD), el Departamento de Policía de Evanston (EPD), Actors Gymnasium y C&W Market & Ice Cream Parlor el sabado, el 10 de agosto, 2pm - 4pm, en Elks Play Lot Park (en la esquina de Mulford St. y Callan Ave.) para una noche de diversión, juegos, gimnasia y actividades circenses, ¡y camiones!

• El Departamento de Bomberos de Evanston les dará a los niños un recorrido por el camión de bomberos. ¡Puede que incluso haya algún juego acuático! Esto va a ser muy divertido! El camión de bomberos solo estará presente entre 30 y 45 minutos durante el evento.
• ¡Ven a pasar el rato con los gimnastas profesionales de Actors Gymnasium que te darán un curso introductorio sobre la acrobacia, desde volteretas hasta habilidades en el suelo y más!
• ¡El Departamento de Policía de Evanston les dará a los niños un recorrido por un SUV de policía y ofrecerá obsequios divertidos para todos!
• ¡C&W Market & Ice Cream Parlor traerá su camión de helados para ofrecer conos de helado y sándwiches para compra!
  ¡La autora de Trucky Roads, Lulu Miller, estará presente para leer y firmar su nuevo libro al lado de Booked, nuestra tienda de libros local!
