Bring your baby to experience Theater for the Very Young at Evanston Public Library thanks to Northwestern's Theater Department. Actors will invite you & your baby to explore the joy of making music.
Pick one of two "performances" of this fun Theater for the Very Young event! Northwestern University students will share this theater piece for babies 4 - 18 months, after having workshopped it at Evanston Public Library in the Baby Creativity Labs (May of 2019).Babies have a chance to explore with their parents and caregivers what it is like to make music. Come experience a totally new form of theater, one you and your baby get to participate in. REGISTRATION REQUIRED! You can only register for ONE performance, either June 7 or June 8.
Five attributes of Quality Theater for the Very Young:
There will be no seats
There is no linear story
There will be lots of sensory stimulation
Young children will be serious, intense, focused
It will be participatory
