Fifty years ago human beings first set foot on the moon.
What did it take to get there, land, explore, and return to earth? Find out through pictures and videos in this short presentation! We'll also investigate how craters are formed and the importance of exploring craters on the moon. While mostly directed to “little kids” (through grade two), older students and adults might learn something new about the Apollo program and its astronauts as well. Geared toward families with kids ages 3-10 but open to all.
