Illinois Extension Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening related questions in the lobby of the Main Library the fourth Saturday of the month from May-September.
Are your tomato plants sickly and you don't know why? Is your grass full of weeds? Are you wondering what native plants will attract pollinators or how to compost? Have you wanted to grow vegetables but don't know where to start?
While the Internet is great for a lot of things, sometimes you just want hands-on, in-person help with questions like these. This is your chance to get your gardening related questions answered by expert volunteers from the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener program.
Master Gardeners have completed a 12 week training course on a variety of gardening topics and have gained experience through active volunteering for the University of Illinois Extension. They provide unbiased, research-based information from the University of Illinois to the public, serving youth and adults of all ages and backgrounds.
