Diwali is the festival of lights celebrated by most Indians, regardless of faith, though it started as a Hindu celebration. Everyone welcome to celebrate the festival of lights together.
Join us to celebrate Diwali! We'll be telling the story of Ramayana & Ravenna and making lanterns (diyas); we will do a library-version of Rangoli (sand art) too! Henna Artist, Lakshmi Kamath, trained in Mumbai, will join us at the Main Library All are welcome.
Can't make it Monday night? We have Diwali Celebrations at Chicago Avenue/Main Street Branch and North Branch, too!
