Staff from Vitalant will be hosting a community blood drive and COVID-19 antibody testing event in the Community Meeting Room from 11am - 4pm. Please follow the guidelines below if you'd like to give blood.
Due to COVID-19, appointments are required to donate blood. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Donors are required to provide and wear a face covering while in the building.
To make an appointment, call 877-258-4825 OR visit vitalant.org, select "donate blood" and then "make an appointment", scroll down to group code 065B.
You should not donate blood if you have not been feeling well.
You should not donate if you or someone you live with or are in close contact with has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Presenting donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Culver's Custard.
Prepare. Eat well. Be hydrated. Bring ID.
ANTIBODY TESTING: Vitalant istesting for COVID19 antibodies as a service on all successful donations from June 1-August 31. Antibody testsare used to tell if someone had a past
infection with SARS-CoV-2. Learn more at Vitalant.org/antibodytest. Vitalant is also collecting convalescent plasma. If you or someone you know has recovered from COVID-19, please visit vitalant.org/covidfree to register. Donors must be pre-screened and collections will occur at donor centers, not at mobile drives.
