Join us in watching Netflix's, "The Guardian Brothers" (G, 1h 47m)!
This watch party is aimed at youth ages 8 and up and their families! We hope to highlight stories of those that aren't shared widely, in order to promote positive representation, and to spark meaningful and age appropriate conversation around issues of racial equity and social justice. After the showing we will share questions to encourage further family discussion.
Registration is open to all Evanston residents and/or District 65 students and families. Be sure to include a valid email address to ensure that you will receive the Netflix invite.
Technology needed: Netflix account + Teleparty (formerly called Netflix Party) + desktop or laptop computer.
In an effort to make this program accessible to those who don't have a Netflix account, we have a limited number of spots available to Evanston residents who register. Just make sure after you register to email cfrancellno@cityofevanston.org for more information on how to participate in the watch party.
If the program becomes full and you wish to have access to the discussion questions and resources, email your request to cfrancellno@cityofevanston.org.
The City of Evanston is committed to promoting a Citywide culture of accessibility and inclusivity. To request an accommodation for a program, service, or activity, please call 847-866-2919 to make an ADA service request or fill out a request form online.
