Virtual event co-sponsored by the Office of Sustainability. Join us to understand and reflect on the intersection of Climate Change, gender and race.
Virtual film screening and community discussion.
Join Liam Engel, Greenest Region Corps Member, on the screening and community discussion of the film "Fire + Flood: Queer Resilience in the Era of Climate Change." Some of the issues we will be reflecting on are indigenous and queer strategies in response to emergencies, the connection between biodiversity and human diversity, and how climate change’s effects are felt the most by marginalized communities.
For those who have already watched the documentary, feel free to join the discussion around 8:10-8:15pm.
To watch the film prior to the discussion, use this link and password: Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/361214795, password CuirResilience
Participants will receive the Zoom link 24 hours prior to the event.
