Join us for the third installment in this yearlong series of monthly programs aimed at supporting community mental health.
Laura Lindroth, from Rainbows for All Children, will present on the topics of:
*Adverse Childhood Experiences: what they are and why they are important to address
*Understanding how children grieve differently than adults
*Recognizing signs and symptoms children/teens may need additional support for their mental health and emotional wellbeing
*Coping techniques (mindfulness activities, art projects, meditations, yoga poses and breathing exercises) that can be helpful in relieving stress and anxiety
Rainbow for All Children is dedicated to providing support for all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss.
Laura Lindroth, MPH, is Director of Programming and Community Engagement at Rainbows for All Children. She is committed to expanding the number of peer support groups worldwide, and adapting an equitable, evidence-based training and curriculum to best support all children and adolescents. Advocating for the necessity of supporting children who have experienced loss and trauma is her passion.
