4th to 6th graders will discuss Jacqueline Woodson's award winning, fast-paced verse novel Locomotion. Woodson, the winner of the Children's Literature Legacy Award, received a Coretta Scott King Author Honor for this moving story about Lonnie, a boy living in foster care who misses his family and learns the power of writing poems. Registration begins March 1. You can place a hold on the book here or (while supplies last) pick up a free copy of the paperback starting March 8.
