A family program with Peruvian-American author and illustrator Juana Martinez-Neal.
Welcome award-winning author and illustrator Juana Martinez-Neal for a virtual program at EPL on Tuesday, October 26, from 6:30-7:30pm. Her debut book as an author and illustrator, Alma and How She Got Her Name, won a 2019 Caldecott Award Honor.
This program is in conjunction with Juana Martinez-Neal's virtual visits at District 65's Oakton, Dawes, Bessie Rhodes and Walker Schools from October 25 -27. You can order autographed copies of three of her books at Evanston’s very own local children's bookstore, Booked.
