The African American Historical/Genealogy Study Group of Evanston invites families with children in middle school or high school to work together as sleuths developing research techniques and skills to learn genealogy resources and the importance of keeping records & documenting your family's history.
-The project will have hybrid meetings in person and Zoom.
-Families will be provided with the necessary tools and research materials.
-This project will honor families with respect and celebrate the diversity in our communities.
-Through a Community Grant received from Evanston Cradle to Career, this program is free to interested families.
