Add some crafts to your Juneteenth celebration this year!
Stop by the library to grab a craft kit and learn some important facts about Juneteenth, a national holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in America, and other Black historical figures. There will be a few craft kits to choose from including a kit to make your own Juneteenth craft stick flag, one to make your own Alma Thomas inspired collage and Juneteenth paper hearts.
The kits will be available from both our Main and Robert Crown Library branches starting June 13th and will be available while supplies last!
The Main library is an epicenter of information and the various forms of literacy. Its assets expand beyond books, audiobooks and DVDs to include public Internet stations and building-wide Wi-Fi, arts performances and displays, author presentations, financial and immigration programs, and much more.
