Learn chords, notes and how to strum on a stringed instrument!
We'll start by introducing kids to the anatomy of the guitar and Woodrow (an upright Appalachian dulcimer). Then they will have the option to learn to play a song on either the guitar or the Woodrow. After getting familiar with the instruments, kids will create a cardboard representation of the Woodrow to practice their finger placement and strum technique (similar to the Suzuki method for teaching young children the Violin)! After attending, you will recieve a video from Miss Jess of the video to aid in kids' continued learning/practice.
