Sign up for one of our smaller Tuesday events, where volunteers fixers can spend more time working with you. December 26th: Toy Repair Cafe!!!
We believe everyone attending a repair event should have fun, enjoy making new connections and leave feeling they are part of a community that takes care of people and planet. That is why we host the Tuesday Repair Cafe's, so everybody has the opportunity to roll up their sleeves to discover and enjoy repair, collaboration, skill sharing and the satisfaction of extending the life of our everyday items.
Sign up so our volunteer fixers can assist you with diagnosing, troubleshooting and/or repairing your small appliances, sewing/mending needs, electonics (4th Tuesday only) AND jewelry repair.
December 26th - Toy Repair Café: Children ages 6 and up and their adult(s) are welcome to bring a couple of items for repair. We will work together and do our best to repair or sew/mend your favorite toy! Please register for a slot. Walk-ins welcome, too.
What is a Climate Action Program?
Climate Action Programs are presentations, workshops and other events that promote awareness over the need to take action in order to reduce our carbon footprint. We aim to make Climate Action accessible and engaging to everybody by providing fun programs that spark curiosity and a desire to take better care of ourselves and our planet.

The Robert Crown Branch Library, located inside the Robert Crown Community Center, was opened in early 2020 to extend library services out into walking distance of some of Evanston's most diverse and historically underserved neighborhoods. The branch features a computer bar, laptop loaning, study rooms and a community meeting room, an expanded Spanish-language collection and bilingual staff, an outdoor reading garden, and dozens of programs each month for children, teens and adults.
