Hispanic/Latinx-Owned Business Month in Evanston!

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join the Evanston Public Library as we highlight and support Hispanic/Latinx owned businesses in the community!  This program will run from Sept 15 - Oct 15

**This program runs from September 15 to October 15** 

Here is how you can participate and support!

• Visit one of the two library locations to pick up a punch card of local Hispanic/Latinx owned businesses.
• Choose at least 5 businesses to visit. Four (4) must be in-person businesses and the remaining one (1) can be an online business. 
• In order to get credit for visiting a business, you must make a purchase and get a signature for your punch card, ask staff a trivia question about the business and jot down the answer, or find the answer on the business' website.  

Once your punch card is full, bring it back to a library location to be entered in a raffle for your chance to win a gift card to one of the participating Hispanic/Latinx-owned businesses of your choice! EPL will be raffling one $100 and two $50 gift cards.

¡Así es como puedes participar y apoyar!

• Visite una de las dos ubicaciones de la biblioteca para recoger una tarjeta perforada de negocios locales hispanos/latinos.
• Elige al menos 5 negocios para visitar. Cuatro (4) deben ser negocios presenciales y el 1 restante puede ser un negocio en línea.
• Para obtener crédito por visitar un negocio, debe hacer una compra y obtener una firma para su tarjeta perforada, hacerle al personal la pregunta trivia sobre el negocio y anotar la respuesta, o encuentre la respuesta en el sitio web de la empresa.

Cuando su tarjeta perforada esté llena, llévela a una biblioteca para participar en una rifa para tener la oportunidad de ganar una tarjeta de regalo para una de las empresas participantes de propiedad hispana/latinx de su elección! EPL sorteará una tarjeta de regalo de $100 y dos de $50.
