Learn simple wood carving techniques and create your very own unique art piece. We’ll carve into blocks to reveal contrasting shades of wood using Dremel tools.
Use the designs we provide or bring your own. Practice using different bits and techniques to create texture.
Your instructor will be Fick Patterson, furniture maker and Rebuilding Exchange Education Instructor. Fick is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute and has extensive experience in carving with hand and power tools. Their work is currently on display at Tusk in Logan Square.
