Monthly FREE Group Fitness Sessions for Older Adults age 60+ with Evanston area fitness professionals.
NOTE: These sessions will take place at the Main Library (Orrington and Church), in the first floor Community Room.
June 13: Bingocize with Margaret Danilovich
Exercise meets Bingo in this fun fitness class focusing on aerobics, balance, and strength.
July 11: Chair Yoga with YMCA
August 8: Ageless Grace with Kate Jordan
Are you an Older Adult age 60+ who is looking to stretch, move, work on your core strength and balance, get stronger, and keep healthy and active? We'll have you saying "Aha!" aha! (active healthy aging) is a FREE monthly fitness and wellness program designed especially for you!
Will it be Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Calisthenics, Seated Weight Training, Tai Chi? We'll have different sessions each month.
EPL Engagement Services for Older Adults teams up with McGaw YMCA, Mather Community Initiatives, and other area trainers and practitioners on the second Thursday of each month . You'll want to dress for movement; and bring a water bottle, small towel, and a mask (if you want one, or as required by the latest City health guidelines).
