Northlight Theatre is offering virtually this summer their highly regarded and enjoyable High Lights Workshop. Open to writers at all stages of their writing journey.
Everyone has a story to tell!
In these workshops, participants will generate and share through writing prompts, discussion, and peer feedback. The goal of High Lights is to build a supportive community of writers and storytellers.
Registration will be for all six weeks: June 12, 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24 Note: on July 24, you will meet from 6:30-8 pm

These workshops will be facilitated by Matt Farabee.
Matt Farabee is a teaching artist and actor. For Northlight-On-Campus, he directed Fairview South's production from 2011-2020 and worked with the Drama Club and Speak Up! programs at Eisenhower. He has also taught masterclasses and production workshops in schools with various Northlight productions. Matt helped to create and teach workshops on Building Positive Workplace Relationships with the Youth Job Center of Evanston and teaches High Lights writing workshops with the Levy Senior Center, Edgewater Village, Evanston Public Library, and others. He has also worked with Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf, Rivendell, A Red Orchid, Victory Gardens, About Face Theatre, Court Theatre, among others. Matt is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Dramatic Arts and Recreational Therapy.
