Get your hygge on with the ultimate winter craft - needle felting with wool!
Have you tried needle felting yet? Use simple materials - wool roving, a felting needle, a protected surface, and your amazing hands - to create sweet creatures and more. In this class, you'll learn the basics of needle felting to create a simple owl or a penguin. Once you've practiced the process, create whatever your imagination can dream up with the remaining wool.
Important: This program is limited to children and teens 10 years old and up. Needle felting uses a sharp, barbed tool that can easily result in pricked fingers. Wearing leather or protective gloves (not provided) may be helpful; a thimble will be available for participants to use in the kit. Participants will need to provide a flat surface with a folded towel, foam board, or other protected area that is okay to have a needle poking into it.
Needle felting kits will be available for pick-up or delivery. Registrants will receive information about kit pick-up via provided email addresses in mid-December.
