This month the T-MAC Book Group will be reading Even This Page is White by Vivek Shraya
The T-MAC Book Group is a space for TGNC folks to come together and discuss books on a monthly basis. We strive to achieve diversity in representation of characters and authors (reflecting the diversity and intersectionality within TGNC communities), as well as in literary genres.
All Trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, or questioning adults (18+) are warmly welcome.
"Vivek Shraya's debut collection of poetry is a bold and timely interrogation of skin—its origins, functions, and limitations. Poems that range in style from starkly concrete to limber break down the barriers that prevent understanding of what it means to be racialized. Shraya paints the face of everyday racism with words, rendering it visible, tangible and undeniable." -From the Publisher
This event is co-hosted with T-MAC (the Transmasculine Alliance of Chicago).
