Each Law at the Library program features a presentation on Zoom by an experienced attorney, followed by a brief question and answer session.
This program will cover trans-affirming legal services offered by the Transformative Justice Law Project of Illinois (TJLP), including name changes, policy work and litigation for trans individuals, and tips for trans-affirming legal care. TJLP will also offer guidance on other legal issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community should be aware of, and thoughts on where to look for help with those issues.
This program is presented in partnership with the Chicago Bar Association and the Chicago Public Library.
