Like making movies? Can't stop talking about your favorite TV show? Want to know more about the filmmaking process? Then the Teen Cinema Club is for you!
What makes a good movie? Why do we love the films we do? What makes a drama sad and a horror movie scary? We'll discuss different aspects of filmmaking from directing and acting to lighting and cinematography and everything in between to understand why we like the films we do and the ways great movies are impacted by and in turn impact our society.
The Teen Cinema Club, from 3:30 pm-6:00 pm Feb. 24th, is open to all teen filmmakers, movie lovers, and snack enjoyers. Every month we'll watch and discuss a different film that we've voted on together. At the beginning of the program we'll ask ourselves some questions about the film genre, plot, and other cinematic aspects. At the end of the viewing we'll discuss the answers to those questions; whether we think the film/show was a success, and what aspects we think they could have improved on. Then we'll vote on the film/show we want to watch next time!
