Are you looking to start a garden but don’t have the space to do so or maybe you're looking for a cool way to start seeds. Well look no further! Thanks to our great partners: Green Our Planet and Evanston Grows, you can sign up for this free workshop and check out a hydroponic machine for 10 weeks with your library card for FREE! What is hydroponics? Hydroponics is a growing method that replaces soil with a watery solution of mineral nutrients. With hydroponics, you can grow food ALL year round! Staff will show you how to set up the machine, best things to grow, and general information so you can have a successful growing journey. Register for the workshop to learn more! Also, stop by Robert Crown Community Center to see our big hydroponic machine that can house up to 200 plants! Join EPL in this growing journey and help fight food justice.
