Aubrey Glendinning of Institute for Therapy through the Arts will lead participants through therapeutic mindful exercises, visualizations, art drawings, and writing.
Aubrey Glendinning is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has worked with adults and adolescents experiencing substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She completed her Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy at Adler University. She is passionate about the ability of art to empower individuals to make lasting change in their lives. Aubrey is currently employed at the Institute of Therapy through the Arts in Evanston, IL.
ITA believes in empowering individuals, families, and communities so that they can grow and heal through Creative Art Therapy approaches, such as art therapy, drama therapy, music therapy, and dance movement therapy. ITA provides creative arts therapy services for individuals of all ages, in the forms of group or individual therapy, as well as in the community and schools.
