Get a jump on spring by starting seeds outside in the winter.
Winter Sowing is a cheap and easy way to start seeds as early as January or February in recycled containers such as milk jugs and soda bottles.
This ninety minute hands-on workshop will walk you through the steps from container and seed selection to transplanting. If you like, bring a clean milk jug or clear soda bottle to use for seed starting, however we will have some containers available to those who don't have one. If you have any perennial or hardy annual seeds you'd like to use, please bring those as well.
