Join University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Volunteers as they guide participants in a presentation and demonstration about houseplants.
Learn about optimal growing conditions, tips and tricks in caring for your houseplants, and the best plants to choose for your home. Volunteers will also cover repotting and do a demonstration. There will be a raffle for the plant: You might even be the lucky winner!
Master Gardeners (MG) are volunteers that do educational programming in the North Cook County Region. Master Gardeners have completed a 12 week training course on various gardening topics and are active volunteers for University of Illinois Extension. We provide unbiased, research-based information from the University of Illinois to the public. We serve youth and adults of all ages and backgrounds through our public programming that ranges from seed starting and worm composting to native plants and conservation.
