Investigate the crime, gather evidence, follow the clues and win prizes! (Grades 3-6)
(Updated as of 11/7): Do you think you have what it takes to be a detective? A crime has happened at the Library's Spring Gala! Join us in celebration for National STEM/STEAM Day on August 8th and pick up a Mystery Crime Kit and with activities ranging from fingerprint analysis to uncovering hidden messages. There will be suspect and witness interviews, a map and more files to look through to solve the crime!
Once you finish all the activities and think you know who the culprit is, follow the instructions on the kit to cast a vote for who you think did on our Google Form. Everyone who completes the activity and casts a vote will be entered into a raffle for a special prize! You have until the end of the week to complete the kit and cast your vote. Winners will be contacted on Monday, Nov 15th.
The kits will be available to pick up on at the Evanston Public Library Main or Robert Crown Branch starting November 8th and will be available until supplies last.
