Put a Heart on It! It's Sew Fun!
Wearing your heart on your sleeve is only one option - join us for a simple sewing craft using felt! We will have supplies available to sew a felt heart on an item you bring in - sweatshirt, old sweater, jeans - use your imagination! We also have supplies to turn your felt heart into an ornament and a few dog bandanas to embellish. This program is drop-in, no registration necessary. Everyone is welcome, however children sixth grade and younger must come with an adult. Questions? rsindelar@cityofevanston.org
The Robert Crown Branch Library, located inside the Robert Crown Community Center, was opened in early 2020 to extend library services out into walking distance of some of Evanston's most diverse and historically underserved neighborhoods. The branch features a computer bar, laptop loaning, study rooms and a community meeting room, an expanded Spanish-language collection and bilingual staff, an outdoor reading garden, and dozens of programs each month for children, teens and adults.
