The mission of the festival is to advocate for and celebrate the works of Native American filmmakers. The films will be screened in room B/C of the Robert Crown Community Center.
The mission of the festival is to advocate for and celebrate the works of Native Americans filmmakers and new works and films that break racial stereotypes and promotes awareness of Native American issues. All films screened are directed by Indigenous/Native American filmmakers from the United States, Canada, Central and South America, and Mexico. The mission of First Nations Film and Video Festival Inc. is to support Indigenous/Native American filmmakers of all skill levels and work to provide them a venue for their works and voice.
BABY BREAD (8:15)
They are mini situations (ideas) that develop within mythologies, wisdom, dreams, experiences, oralities and community environments. The challenge is to forget how production status, form of filmmaking that many artists and many filmmakers considered correct. Venture is producing the film based on an idea, unscripted, without great technical team, and in less than 1 hour.

Through a play on the saying “real indian,” the 2009 film Reel Injun, and a look at North American Indigenous people, "NDNs," specific to the Midwest, Reel NDNS, takes a look at Indian stereotypes and snapshots of contemporary Indigenous life.
