Participants will look at and vote on the art in contenders for the 2021 Caldecott Award!
Registration will begin October 15!
Our Caldecott Club is going virtual this year and Lincolnwood Public Library will be joining us! Join 2017 Caldecott Award Committee member Mr. Brian from EPL and Ms. Eti from the Lincolnwood Public Library for this fun discussion group about picture books that might win the 2021 Caldecott Award (for most distinguished illustrations)!
Kids will look at, discuss, and then vote on books presented at each virtual meeting. Registration covers all three sessions (November 9, December 7, January 4). Participants attending at least one session will be invited to a Special Voting Party on Tuesday, January 19 at 7pm where the kids will choose an Ultimate Winner!
Participants will also be invited to a special viewing party of the announcement of the actual 2021 Caldecott Award winner on Monday, January 25 at 7pm.
This program will be offered through Zoom. When registering, please include an accurate email. A Zoom link will be sent to you two hours before each session starts.
Even if more than one child plans to attend, you only need to provide one registration per family. Thank you!
