In the second part of The Divination Series, we will discuss the basics of astrology. Astrology is a practice rooted in the belief that planetary movements have an impact on individual and mundane events. Astrology has seen a resurgence of popularity over the past few decades, as people have sought out new ways to better understand themselves. Astrology can provide a framework for people to examine their lives and environments they engage in, as described in this article from The New Yorker. During the event, Brooke Strodder will walk us through the significations for each astrological sign and planet, and how it relates to each person. individually.

The Divination Series: 
Divination is the practice of gaining insight on matters of the past, present, and future through interpretations of powers outside of ourselves. Divination is used to develop a better understanding of oneself and one's relationship with the world. Two of the most popular forms of divination are tarot and astrology. The series will provide an introduction to both divination practices through 3 one-hour long classes. Through the class, attendees will discover new tools to deepen their intuition and connection to the stars.

Brooke Strodder is an emerging diviner, with a focus on traditional Western astrology and tarot. Introduced to astrology as a child, she began to deepen her astrological knowledge in 2016. Her study of tarot started in 2019. Practicing divination, she seeks to help others identify the strengths and challenges they might experience, and channel that energy into ways that lead to improved intuition and decision making.
