Come enjoy a screening of amazing mini movies filmed by Evanston 5th-8th graders. Event starts at 6:30PM with free ice cream from C&W Market and Film Screening begins at 7:00PM. The Film It Challenge is a partnership between EPL, D65, EvanSTEM, Y.O.U., Family Focus and the City of Evanston. This screening is for all ages!
Where?
Mason Park in Evanston – 1600 Florence Avenue (between Church & Davis Street).
There is free parking on the street surrounding Mason Park and available in the Y.O.U. parking lot located at the corner of Church Street and Dodge Avenue.
What should I bring?
This will be an outdoor and socially distant event. Please bring your own chairs and/or blanket.
What if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, The Film It! Challenge Film Festival will be a virtual event. If we cancel the in-person Film Festival, we will notify all registered participants by 6:00 PM the day of the event. We will email a link to a virtual event at that time as well. The virtual event will also start at 8:00 PM.
