Learn how to paint on glass and make portraits of some iconic Black cartoon characters!
If you love cartoons and drawing, then this event is for you. Choose a photo from our selection of iconic Black cartoon characters from current and past hit animated cartoons and try your hand at reverse glass painting, where you paint on glass and then view the finished product from the other side!
This event will take place in the lobby of the Robert Crown Community Center, right outside the library.
We will supply frames and materials! Please note: This program is intended for children ages 9 and up!
The Robert Crown Branch Library, located inside the Robert Crown Community Center, was opened in early 2020 to extend library services out into walking distance of some of Evanston's most diverse and historically underserved neighborhoods. The branch features a computer bar, laptop loaning, study rooms and a community meeting room, an expanded Spanish-language collection and bilingual staff, an outdoor reading garden, and dozens of programs each month for children, teens and adults.
