In this workshop titled "Mental Health & Self-Care" Damita Cravens will answer these questions and more. The workshop will cover self-care and energy, what the absence of self-care looks like, how to connect to ourselves and 5 steps for enhancing self-care. Leave this workshop with new tips and tricks on how to improve your self-care routine.
Damita Cravens, LPC earned her Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health in 2017. She is currently working towards her LCPC. Damita has experience with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and belief systems. She has worked with adults who have severe and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, bipolar I and co-occurring substance use disorders. She also has experience working with children ages 4-17 years old. Damita currently works with the City of Evanston as an outreach worker. She is also a board member of the Children's Advocacy Center of North Cook and NAMI North Chicago.
