Read, learn and craft with Evanston Police Department and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement at the Robert Crown Branch!
In celebration of Black History Month, come on over to the Evanston Public Library - Robert Crown Branch and have a great time at Books & Badges on Saturday, February 24, at 1:30pm! Participants will get to meet and get to know officers from both the Evanston Police Department (EPD) and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement (NOBLE). NOBLE consists of community leaders united in our mission to promote justice, equity, and excellence in the administration of justice. Officers will read stories, kiddos can read to the officers, and participants will learn best practices for calling 911 and recognizing potential danger.
There will be a fun craft and cool giveaways for all attendees!
