Celebrate Banned Books Week with PFLAG Evanston . Share what these books mean to you and support these challenged and banned books
Banned Book Week is an international event supported by a diverse group of organization. This week is dedicated to raising awareness about banned and challenged books and celebrating the freedom to read. Our event will spotlight books that have been challenged in various parts of our country. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and check out a wide range of books, from picture books to YA novels and adult literature.
Representatives from PFLAG Evanston will be on hand to engage in discussions, read picture books, and answer any questions you may have. Light refreshments will be provided. No registration is required—we hope you’ll drop in and join us in celebrating the freedom to read!
