Drop by to join us in joyful art and poetry activities, snacks and drinks, and to pick up a free copy of Ross Gay's poetry book "Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude" while supplies last. All ages welcome!
Evanston Public Library was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to provide our community with free copies of Ross Gay’s book of poetry Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, to be given away at a variety of events from September through May. In partnership with Hive Center For The Book Arts, we will be hosting art and poetry workshops, as well as other events, around the themes of this book of poetry, with a focus on gratitude and joy for where we live.
The National Endowment for the Arts Big Read is designed to broaden our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
