Join us for a special presentation of The Chicago Bar Association’s Law at the Library program, Know Your Rights: Environmental Updates Impacting Your Community.
In honor of the 150th Anniversary of the CBA, the Chicago Public Library and Evanston Public Library, and in celebration of Earth Day Week 2024, we are hosting a panel discussion featuring environmental leadership from Chicagoland government organizations. Raquel Garcia-Alvarez, Policy Manager, Forest Preserves of Cook County; Stephen Sylvester, Chief of the Chicago Environmental Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office; and Dawn Walker, Chief of Staff to Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Commissioner Cameron Davis; will provide updates on new environmental developments and enforcement activities, and share how residents can stay connected on environmental issues and concerns in their communities. E. Lynn Grayson, Past CBA President and Partner at the boutique environmental law firm Nijman Franzetti LLP will host the discussion and moderate an audience Q&A.
