Summer is here! At the Library, that means the Summer Reading Program is on for thousands of readers across Evanston! Earn prizes, meet reading goals, and dig deeper into the vast world of knowledge.
Online registration opens June 1 at epl.org/summerreading, or by calling 847-448-8600, or by using the Readsquared APP for both registration and tracking reading. The app is free for both Android and iOS mobile devices.
Summer reading is great for your mind! It expands your horizons, gives you expertise in subjects you love, exposes you to new interests, and makes you smarter about the wide world around you. This summer we want to encourage everyone to "Dig Deeper". Let's investigate, read, and discover new ideas and new possibilities. Throughout the summer, EPL will offer virtual camps, online challenges, and DIY projects to keep us digging and discovering new thoughts, stories, facts, and information.
How Summer Reading Works:
Register online, by phone, or via the READsquared APP.

*Must be an Evanston resident to take part in the grand prize drawing
Individuals of all ages and families are encouraged to register starting June 1 and help grow our city of readers. Literacy includes writing, research, technology, creativity, and problem solving. But it all starts and ends with reading. Using reading to dig deeper and grow is one of the best ways to enjoy your summer.
