Create a painting to celebrate what inspires you! Come pick up a February Kit at either library location from 2/1 through 2/28 or while supplies last. Grades 6-12.
This month is Black History Month! We hope to bring the focus to Black joy, hope, beauty, and love this month, and we invite you to do the same with our take-home painting kits. Paint whatever helps you feel inspired!
If you'd also like to participate in a community art project, feel free to bring your finished piece back to the Teen Loft, Main Library, and it will be installed in the final piece.
Each kit includes: a canvas panel, various acrylic paint colors, two small brushes, a sponge brush, a paper plate and popsicle stick for paint mixing. One kit per teen. Grades 6-12.
These are the supplies you'll need if you're not picking up a kit!
Supplies:
A canvas panel (11"x14")
Acrylic Paint (whatever colors you like!)
Paint Brushes (varying sizes)
Sponge brush (if you want, not required)
