We will sing a moon song together in 3 languages, hear and act out a traditional story of the moon goddess and make a bunny lantern because traditionally, the Chinese moon goddess is accompanied by a moon rabbit! Moon rabbit is beloved in many Asian cultures, too!

The moon festival is so important to many Asian cultures! Celebrated like Thanksgiving, it's when everyone in the family gets together the evening of the full moon. Ancestors are honored; family is celebrated; and everyone stays up late eating delicious pastries! Mooncake is the Chinese delicacy and songpyeon, rice flour balls stuffed with goodies, is the classic Korean treat for this holiday, alongside jeon (savory pancakes).
八月十五月亮节在许多亚洲文化中都非常重要！像感恩节一样，全家人在满月的晚上聚在一起，怀念祖先，思念家人，吃美味的糕点。月饼是中国的传统，而松片（带馅的年糕）和煎饼则是韩国在这个节日的经典美食。
